Few facts about surfing in Anakao region

Surf seasons


 The consistent season of swell starts in April and goes all the way to September, and the swell is more powerful during this period.


From October to March, you can find something smaller to surf, and the waves are a bit inconsistent


During the trip, we might  chase the swell to north or south and that impacts on housing arrangements 

How to get there?


 - Start by flying to Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar.

For now, only direct flights from Europe is trough Paris


- From there, catch a domestic flight to Toliara where the adventure continues with a scenic boat transfer to the laid-back coastal village of Anakao. 

Weather


Anakao, Madagascar, experiences two primary weather seasons: a hot, rainy season from November to April and a cooler, dry season from May to October.


During the hot season, temperatures can reach up to 95°F (35°C), with heavy rainfall leading to lush landscapes and vibrant flora.

In contrast, the dry season sees temperatures averaging around 77°F (25°C) with minimal rainfall.

How do I book and what are the information I need to provide?

Send us your enquiry with how many people will arrive, which day and which package you are choosing.

We will get back to you asap, if you don't here from us we are most likely surfing and guiding, so don't worry.

Payment is 25% of full costs during booking and 75% latest at 30days before arrival

How should I prepare for my travel to Madagascar?

To prepare for your travel, make sure to pack appropriate clothing for the destination and activities included in your plan. Ensure you have all necessary travel documents such as passports and visas up to date.

Cancellation of trip

At our cancellation policy, we understand that unexpected situations may arise. We strive to provide the best experience for our customers, which is why we never wish that cancellations happen. If a cancellation occurs more than 90 days before the trip, you will receive a full refund of the reservation payment. Within 90-60 days, a 50% refund will be offered. Unfortunately, cancellations within less than 60 days will not be eligible for any refund.
